The ultimate HEALTHY Ice pop. Super Vitamins, Antioxidants & Protein!

Aren't we all struggling with picky toddler eating sometimes (or all times)?

Every day I am trying to think how to add more Vitamins to my kids diet in a kids attractive way. Most days the tiniest green speck of spinach on pasta will lead to a "EWWWW mommy what's that? I can not possible eat this."

One way to get a boost of Vitamins, Antioxidants and even protein into these little lovable monsters are my ultimate healthy, super delicious ice pops. Prepared in as less as 5-10 minutes and ready to eat as soon as frozen. Or if your kids like to eat sorbet style textures they can actually eat it immediately, same if used as smoothies.

Favorite colors and fruits play a role in this so make it a super special treat (and announce as that) by using your kids taste and love for their favorite color and it becomes a personalized magic ice pop.

I am not big with accurate measuring so it's always a test kitchen over here but I try to be as exact as possible. You can always leave an ingredient out or add something else and will come out great!

One of my girls loves purple, so here we go with the:

ACAI, Blueberry, Raspberry, Spinach, Protein & Chia Seed Ice pop.

Acai Blueberry Protein Ice pop. Vitamins, Antioxidants, Chia seeds

You need a kitchen blender.

1/2 pack Frozen Blueberries (if I have I add some fresh ones too)

1 x ACAI pack (I use the plain unsweetened one but theres a variety of them in your health store)

1/2 pack Raspberries (frozen or fresh)

small handful frozen spinach (small pieces)

1-2 ts chia seeds

2 TS Protein Powder (I use either "way better than whey" which is organic, plant-based and has no added sugars or "Pea Protein Powder" unsweetened and unflavored.)

1 cup almond milk (or whole milk or kefir up to your taste - if you prefer completely milk free, just add more water)

2-3 cups water (I use poland spring but filtered water should just be as fine)

1 pack of Stevia sweetener or 1 spoon of honey or 1 spoon of brown sugar if you like it sweeter. (I usually mix everything first and then try it when ready and if not sweet enough I add it)

All ingredients beside the water and sweetener go into the blender. Press "SMOOTHIE" button and let it mix. Then start adding the water through the top spout until a smooth texture. If still too icy, press liquify button and wait until texture you like. If needed add some more water)

Fill into Icepop molds and put in freezer. This will be enough for 6 Icepops and a huge glass of the most delicious smoothie for you. (and your kids, spouse, partner or whoever you like to treat to a vitamin bomb)

You can change fruits and veggies as you like. Strawberries, Apple, Pears, Carrots, Ginger, be creative!

For my Mango Pineapple Icepop I only use 4 ingredients:

Pineapple Mango Ice pop Smoothie. Vitamins, Antioxidants, Protein, Chia Seeds

1/2 pack of frozen pineapple,

1/2 pack of frozen mango

3 cups of water

1-2 ts chia seeds.

Same as above, mix all ingredients. First add only one-two cups of water and then refill from the top spout as needed to get desired texture. 

Fill in ice pop molds and/or a glass and enjoy!
